Networked machines and systems are the basic building blocks of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). Added value for the industry, however, is created only by digital products and services, for example in predictive maintenance or data-based optimization of machine utilization. The growing ADAMOS Partner Network demonstrates both the interest in and the need for such digital solutions. Five companies have recently strengthened the alliance. These include well-known mechanical engineering firms such as Oerlikon Textile GmbH & Co. KG, Weber Maschinenbau GmbH, ILLIG Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG, and Mahr GmbH.
- At the beginning of 2019 ADAMOS steps forward with five new partners and a trend-setting product and service roadmap.
"We see ADAMOS as a community of like-minded partners who maintain a sustainable and theme-based exchange to identify and implement new business models in mechanical and plant engineering," says Dr. Marco Link, Managing Director of ADAMOS, welcoming the continuous growth of the alliance. ADAMOS partners are machine and plant manufacturers as well as component manufacturers that use the ADAMOS IIoT platform. ADAMOS enabling partners, such as Software AG or WERKBLiQ, support the network in developing and implementing digital solutions professionally and technically, or offer their applications based on the ADAMOS IIoT platform.
The goal of the ADAMOS network is set out by Dr. Tim Busse, Managing Director of ADAMOS: "Together, we want to develop digital business models that add value to our partners and to their end users and that enable monetization."
The open ADAMOS IIoT platform serves as foundation for cross-manufacturer networking of production processes. Digital applications deployed on this platform help users analyze and optimize manufacturing processes.
With applications that have already been implemented, such as "Digital Workpiece", machine or workpiece data can be monitored, analyzed and documented almost in real time throughout the entire production process. The ADAMOS network is constantly pushing development together with its partners. The most recent examples of the implementation of the cooperative innovation roadmap are the two platform modules "Advanced Reporting" and "Data Lake".
