Strategic Fit of ADAMOS for the Open Industry 4.0 Alliance

Added value through synergies - ADAMOS becomes a member of the Open Industry 4.0 Alliance

Darmstadt / Reinach, Schweiz, 20.01.2022: Creating added value: as of 01.01.2022, ADAMOS GmbH has joined the Open Industry 4.0 Alliance. Together, the two initiatives want to drive the realization of open digitalization platforms for the manufacturing industry. ADAMOS shares the alliance's engagement to leverage existing standards and cross-company collaboration to improve the interoperability of IIoT platforms and digital solutions as well as to enable the adoption of Industry 4.0 applications in digitally integrated global supply chains.

ADAMOS was founded in 2017 as the first strategic alliance for digitalization in mechanical and plant engineering. The Open Industry 4.0 Alliance, is a powerful organisation for the federated implementation and development of cross-manufacturer digital offerings and data-based services for industrial companies.

"With the ADAMOS STORE and ADAMOS HUB, ADAMOS stands for a manufacturer-open infrastructure both for the use of digital products and services as well as commercialization and distribution. We will actively share our experience from building our marketplace and connected integration platform to the working groups of the Open Industry 4.0 Alliance to jointly bringing our customers to the next level of digitalization. With the focused and equally neutral principles of the Open Industry 4.0 Alliance, this will result in a a wide range of synergies,"  emphasizes Dr. Marco Link, Managing Director of ADAMOS GmbH.

His management colleague Dr. Tim Busse adds that both initiatives primarily address the interests of small and medium-sized companies from the production and manufacturing engineering environment. Both offer clear advantages when entering digitalized production. "Following the motto B2B like B2C, we offer users a unique customer experience. Through ADAMOS, customers have the opportunity to find, test, buy and use digital products in one central place - this is unique in the market and perfectly complements the initiatives of the partner companies of the Open Industry 4.0 Alliance."

"The ADAMOS GmbH is a very good expansion of our network. They have been successfully accompanying the industrial digitalization of medium-sized businesses from the very beginning," Ekrem Yigitdöl, Managing Director of the Open Industry 4.0 Alliance, is pleased to say. "With its membership, ADAMOS GmbH consistently underlines its open character, which perfectly fits our alliance. We are looking forward to the common future and the innovative cooperation based on our open ecosystem," says Yigitdöl.
