ADAMOS received the German Innovation Award on the evening of June 6. The innovative joint venture prevailed against 390 competitors in the competition class 'Business-to-Business' and was awarded as 'Winner' by the jury of the German Design Council.
ADAMOS - a joint venture between DMG MORI, Dürr, Software AG, ZEISS, ASM PT, ENGEL and KARL MAYER - is a strategic alliance for the future topic of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). At the German Innovation Awards, the ADAMOS IIoT platform was named 'Winner' in the category "Excellence in Business-to-Business - Information Technologies" by the German Design Council. The award, which was presented for the first time this year, was given for the innovative strength, user benefits and cost-effectiveness of the IIoT platform.
"The digitalization of our society is progressing at a rapid pace. For the mechanical and plant engineering industry - especially for medium-sized companies - this transformation is both a challenge and an opportunity. ADAMOS provides innovative and sustainable solutions here", the jury explains the decision to award the ADAMOS IIoT platform.
"As an open and scalable platform, ADAMOS offers consistent, simple digitalization modules. ADAMOS is the first manufacturer-neutral IIoT platform that focuses exclusively on mechanical and plant engineering. With ADAMOS, strong partners are working on an equal footing to drive forward digital networking and establish a standard in mechanical and plant engineering", says Dr. Marco Link, Managing Director of ADAMOS.
