"We are pleased that customers now have the opportunity to obtain Big-LinX® directly from the ADAMOS STORE. Particularly in the course of the constantly increasing networking of industrial production, but also the digitalisation of manufacturing processes, remote access to machines or systems is gaining in necessity," emphasizes Marc Schmierer, product manager and network and IIoT expert at Industrial IT GmbH, about the partnership between ADS-TEC Industrial IT GmbH and ADAMOS GmbH.
"With Big-LinX®, we are expanding our portfolio with an innovative solution that further advances the digitalisation of manufacturing companies," says Dr. Tim Busse, Managing Director of ADAMOS GmbH.
Big-LinX for remote access to machines
The IIoT platform Big-LinX® is a versatile service & maintenance tool that offers in particular machine operators decisive advantages:
- Secure remote service: Thanks to remote maintenance to machines and systems in the industrial environment, costly and time-consuming on-site service appointments can be reduced enormously. Before a service technician is sent out, it is possible to check remotely which error has occurred and whether employees on site can resolve the error themselves or which spare part is required. As a result, production downtimes can be kept to a minimum.
- Secure IIoT: Another special feature of the ADS-TEC solution is the World Wide Heartbeat (WWH). This communication protocol developed by ADS-TEC enables IIoT data of connected plants and machines to be sent to the Big-LinX® server and stored there in the respective database - without a VPN connection. WWH uses an HTTPs for communication that ensures authentication by means of a software certificate or smartcard. Monitoring the machine and sending the data to Big-LinX® is done via a secure data push. The stored data can also be easily visualised in dashboards.
"Big-LinX® offers customers enormous added value in the area of Industry 4.0. We look forward to working with ADAMOS and the customers," highlights Moritz Lehrer, Key Account Manager at ADS-TEC Industrial IT.
